Red Rock Consulting’s first summer intern is Shawn Allred, a civil engineering student from Oklahoma University. Shawn will graduate with his Bachelors in Civil Engineering this fall. He will be going on to study geotechnical engineering at OU for his Masters degree.
Welcome, Shawn! Now get to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So…we keep hiring all these people and EVERYONE wanted a window. What to do? Knock out some walls and expand into the next space, of course! The new office space is almost ready. Then onto the lab remodel…
April 13, 2015 will go down as an important day in the history of Red Rock Consulting, for it is the very first day of our ODOT approved soils testing laboratory.
Tommy Bounds and Kristi Bumpas with Red Rock, as well as Todd, Brad, Mike and Jordan with DSO, traveled down to Norman to demonstrate the use of the flat plate dilatometer (DMT) to Dr. Amy Cerato’s In-Situ Testing class. We had fun and the kids asked great questions.
Red Rock Consulting, DSO and Interworks employees gathered at the Main Event for our very first “team building” event. Nothing says bonding like a little bowling, laser tag and dinner together. We didn’t get a great picture, but you get the idea!
Red Rock employees recently volunteered at the Hope Center. David, Kristi, Jason, Robel, Michael and Polly pose for a picture with Cheryl, the volunteer coordinator at the Hope Center. The crew helped out by sorting donated clothing, cleaning and moving supplies for the charity. The Hope Center is a non-profit organization that aides local people in need of assistance. For more on the Hope Center, or to volunteer, go to http://hopecenterofedmond.com/.
Tommy and David spending some quality time in the soils lab. The Red Rock Consulting lab is in the process of becoming ODOT approved.
Red Rock employees teamed with employees at CEC’s Civil Servants to create “Christmas boxes” for children in Africa. The boxes included toys, toiletries and a little bit of candy. The boxes will be used by missionaries in Africa to teach the children about Christmas.
